A true iconic scale, LA SIRENA is a sound model based on the E DORIAN mode: airy, suspended, moody.
Here in its extended mutant layout, for a total of 18 notes. On the top shell the unique character of this charming scale and the integrity of it are preserved by keeping its hexatonic nature. Then, like a ray of sun, the bottom shell brings in the sweetness of the D major side of this scale, that couldn't be expressed by the only top. The low B2, in addition, enhances the B minor flavor, making the scale extremely flexible and fun to play. In this way you can either play E La Sirena as an E Dorian, D major or B natural minor scale effortlessly.

Dark, passionate, heart breaking, this C# HARMONIC MINOR scale has a peculiarity that makes the playing experience incredibly fun and satisfying. The choir, instead of starting with the root note, starts with the raised 7th degree (that is the note that turns a minor scale into a harmonic scale): a declaration of intentions, this scale shows its own flavor since the very first touch. Having that major 7th on top gives the player the ability to constantly create and release tensions, which is very important in a scale like this one. Here in its full extended 19 notes extended mutant layout: a bright top merges with with a bottom full of low notes, giving a tridimensional effect.

Based on the E HAMONIC MINOR KEY, this scale is warm and perturbing. Very similar to the HIJAZ, commonly found in Middle Eastern music, DAHLIA has the same notes as a natural E minor, except the seventh degree which is raised by one semitone. The result is an augmented second between the sixth and the seventh degree that gives DAHLIA further strength, change and mystery. Here you can hear it with an extended mutant layout for a total of 19 notes arranged in both the top and bottom shell, and that allow the player total freedom of expression.
